Klauber led the Bobcat charge at the New England Championships on Oct. 11, finishing 21st overall en route to his fourth NEC weekly award this season. The rookie ran in a field of over 300 harriers from 47 institutions and broke the tape in 25:15. Klauber’s time set a Quinnipiac freshman record and was the fourth-fastest time ever recorded by a Bobcat on the five-mile Franklin Park course. The Thomaston, CT product was the second runner from the NEC to finish as he helped guide the Bobcats to a 10th-place standing to best the other league teams that participated.
