O’Quinn’s efforts in the kick return game provided Robert Morris with a spark at two different junctures during the Colonials’ 37-24 victory over cross-town rival Duquesne. On his way to the fourth-most kick return yards (144) in Colonial’s single-game history, O’Quinn used his first of four returns to stunt any momentum Duquesne built on the game’s first scoring drive. After Duquesne went up 7-0, O’Quinn returned the ensuing kickoff 64 yards to the Dukes’ 24-yard line to set up a Colonials’ field goal. Following a Duquesne field goal that extended the Dukes’ lead to 13-3, RMU’s rookie receiver brought the ball to the Colonials’ 44-yard line on a 40-yard run back. Three plays later, Myles Russ scored on a 51-yard rush. O’Quinn also caught a 17-yard pass on the day.
