Johnson earned the victory in net for each of Rider’s three wins this past week, all of which were by one-goal margins. Allowing only three goals over a 245:07 span, the junior keeper posted a 0.86 goals-against average for the week. Johnson worked overtime in two of the victories, keeping Georgetown and La Salle off the scoreboard during the extra sessions. The junior’s toughest work came against La Salle after the two sides remained deadlocked in a 1-1 draw following two overtime periods and 100:00 minutes. Johnson stepped up to stop four of La Salle’s five penalty stroke chances as the Broncs won stroke play by a 2-1 count.
