After missing some time in the net the past few weeks, Boyer came back with two solid performances to claim her first spot on the NEC weekly honor roll, including an eight-save game that helped the Red Flash capture their first conference win of the season, 2-0, against Central Connecticut State on Oct. 3. The junior netminder then made four saves over 110 minutes of action to help preserve a scoreless deadlock with Quinnipiac on Oct. 5. By keeping the opponents’ side of the scoreboard clean, Boyer recorded her 3rd and 4th shutouts of the season, as she now has 10 in her career. The Pittsburgh, PA product currently ranks second in the NEC with a .886 save percentage and third in the league with a 0.71 goals against average.
