Beloin claims his first NEC weekly honor after he shot a one-under 71 on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in his collegiate debut at the Cornell Invitational on Sept. 27. The freshman’s round proved to be good enough for a fifth-place tie overall individually, while also helping the Blue Devils tie for fifth in the 15-team field. Beloin had a tournament-best two eagles, leading to a tournament-low four under par on the par fives. Originally scheduled as a 54-hole event, the final round was canceled due to inclement weather.
