Walsh was extremely disruptive of an opposing passing attack in lifting Monmouth to a second consecutive road victory, this one a 34-26 conference win over Robert Morris. Constantly in the Colonials’ backfield, Walsh’s pressure was a key factor in the Hawks holding the opposition to under 200 yards passing for the first time this season. The senior defensive tackle twice sacked RMU quarterback Erik Cwalinski, who led the nation’s 26-th-ranked passing attack heading into the game, and was credited for a hurry on another occasion. In addition to four tackles (three solo), Walsh swatted down two passes as part of a complete defensive effort.
