Fink, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Year, has the Pioneers off to a 4-and-0 season start with his latest effort leading to a 28-16 road victory at Marist. Completing a conference-best 68.5 percent of his passes this season, the second-year starter was 24-of-31 passing for 281 yards and three touchdowns against the Red Foxes. Fink threw two second-quarter scoring strikes to stake the Pioneers out to a 14-6 lead, one they would not relinquish. With Sacred Heart clinging to a 21-16, fourth-quarter advantage, Fink engineered a 10-play, 70-yard drive that took 5:20 off the clock. The SHU signal caller kept the drive alive with a 28-yard completion on a third-down-and-nine play before hooking up with Tony Patterson for a 10-yard TD.
