Blackshear earned a spot on the NEC weekly honor roll after scoring twice in Monmouth’s 1-0-1 week, as the Hawks are now unbeaten in their last six contests. The senior forward notched the Hawks’ go-ahead goal against Big East opponent, Seton Hall, as they played 110 minutes to a 1-1 draw. Blackshear also tallied MU’s second score in a win against St. Peter’s on Sunday, helping the Hawks improve to 4-0 on the Great Lawn this season and extend their home-field success as they are now 20-1-2 in their last 23 games in West Long Branch, NJ, dating back to the 2006 season. The New Jersey native now has three goals and two assists on the season, good for eight points and a third-place tie on the team in scoring.
