Klauber swept the NEC weekly awards on the male's side after he bested a field of 160 harriers at the Monmouth Invitational on Sept. 19. The rookie crossed the tape on the 8,000 meter Holmdel Park course in 26:30, helping the Bobcats notch first place overall in a meet that featured runners from eight NEC institutions. Klauber has placed in the top five in both meets he has competed in so far this season, as his fifth-place finish on Sept. 6 at Van Cortland Park earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors.
