Klukowski claims his second Brine/NEC Player of the Week award this season for his role in CCSU’s wins over Marist and Manhattan. With the Blue Devils nursing a one-goal lead over Marist on Wednesday, Klukowski’s free kick bounded back to him and he played a ball over the top to David Tyrie, who put the game out of reach with a goal in the 65th minute of a 3-1 victory. On Saturday, he scored the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 triumph at Manhattan to lift CCSU’s record to 4-1-1. The Wiltshire, England native received a pass from Connor Smith and beat the Jasper keeper in the 30th minute. Klukowski, a Hermann Trophy candidate and three-time all-NEC performer, currently ranks second in the NEC with four goals and nine points.
