Walsh spent much of his time harassing Bryant quarterback Jay Graber during Monmouth’s 30-17 road victory. In addition to sacking Graber twice, the senior defensive tackle was credited for hurrying Bryant’s signal caller on five other occasions. Walsh’s third QB hurry of the game forced Graber into a second-quarter interception that eventually led to the Hawks’ second touchdown. Walsh made six tackles, five of the solo variety, in helping Monmouth bottle up a Bulldogs’ rushing attack that managed to only gain 56 yards.
