Bolchoz began her sophomore campaign with three-win showing at the Towson Tiger Classic that earns her the Northeast Conference’s first Player of the Week award of the 2008-09 season. Winning her lone No. 1 singles match and both second singles matches she contested, Bolchoz upped her career record to 27-8. The second-year Mountaineer needed a tie-breaker to decide her match against Georgetown’s Carolina Kuehn at top singles, but her other two matches did not require nearly as much work. Bolchoz cruised past Loyola’s Lauren Cassie (6-1, 6-2) and Saint Joseph’s Katy Borden in straight sets.
