Hetherington put forth a well-rounded effort last week to help the Pioneers go 3-1 as they hosted the SHU Invitational. The outside hitter collected 64 kills and 41 digs over four matches, while also adding eight service aces and five blocks. Hetherington registered two double-doubles; first with 18 kills and 13 digs against Hartford and then with a 12-kill, 11-dig performance in a 3-0 triumph over Harvard. The rookie also set a career high with kills (18) in the opening match against Holy Cross, hitting .419. The California native slammed double-figure kills in each of the four matches, earning a spot on the all-tournament team.
