Primarily known as an all-NEC cornerback, Falae used his game-changing ability to contribute on special teams during Monmouth’s season opener at Rhode Island. Falae’s two 50-yard kickoff returns set up two second-half touchdowns. With Monmouth trailing 17-3 at the break, Falae provided a spark by returning the second half’s opening kickoff down to the Rhode Island 35-yard line. Following a URI field goal that put the Rams ahead 20-10, Falae returned the ensuing kickoff to the URI 47-yard line to put the Hawks in prime position for their second touchdown of the third quarter.
