The final week of Vittek’s record-breaking regular season was one of steady offensive production. Going 10-for-21 (.476) with seven runs batted in and four runs scored over the five-game interval, the Mount's all-time Home Run King began the week by clubbing his league-leading 14th and 15th homers of the season during a mid-week affair with George Washington and would later drive in his 50th run of the season in a 4-1 victory over Quinnipiac. Upping his NEC second-best batting average to .354 and extending his hitting streak to seven games, Vittek safely hit his way on base in each of the five contests. Helping Mount St. Mary’s to a series victory over Quinnipiac that solidified a NEC Tournament berth, the power-hitting first baseman went 6-for-11 with three RBI during the three Mount victories that opened the four-game series.
