Huebner was nearly untouchable during Wagner’s four-game sweep of NEC rival Quinnipiac. The righty reliever appeared in all four wins, three of which he saved. Allowing only one hit and granting no free passes, the junior right-hander pitched a total of 4.1 innings of shutout ball. Adding three strikeouts this weekend, Huebner has now struck out 11 NEC batters during a 9.1 innings sample. Successfully converting 9-of-10 save opportunities this season, the junior Seahawk sits atop Wagner’s all-time single-season save list.
