Johnson earned the victory in both of Monmouth’s triumphs this past week, posting a 7.82 goal-against average and .571 save percentage. The junior goalkeeper minded the net for all 75:13 of Monmouth’s 12-11, four-overtime win at Villnova, stopping 15 shots and securing eight ground balls. Two of her 15 saves came in the final minute of the fourth overtime period with the latter of the two allowing Monmouth to gain possession and net the gamewinner only seconds later. The Hawks only needed Johnson for 40 minutes in a 20-6 rout of Long Island during which the junior made five stops and allowed four scores.
