Wilson posted a remarkable victory at No. 1 singles to stand at the forefront of Quinnipiac’s 6-1 team triumph over conference rival Fairleigh Dickinson. The sophomore easily passed what may have been her toughest test to date this season by dominating the reigning NEC Player of the Year, Julija Korshunova, 6-2, 6-1. The singles win followed an 8-5 victory at first doubles where she joined Adrienne Markison in defeating the tandem of Korshunova and Dzana Ferhatbegovic. Wilson is 14-8 overall against top-flighted singles competition.
