Zimmerman helped lead the Mount to a 4-2 record on the week, hitting .556 with 10 hits, seven runs scored and nine RBIs. The Walkersville, MD native, went 4-for-5 with eight RBIs in her home debut, including a grand slam for her first collegiate home run in the Mount’s 30-0 win over Coppin State. Zimmerman’s eight RBIs are the most by any Mountaineer since Danyale Goode’s seven RBIs against the Eagles in March 23, 2006. She also posted four hits and two runs scored in a doubleheader with Sacred Heart before recording a hit, two runs scored and an RBI in a doubleheader sweep of NEC rival Fairleigh Dickinson.
