Pulsonetti, who finds his way onto the Akadema NEC Weekly Honor Roll for the second occasion this season, slugged a monstrous 1.154 by amassing 15 total bases in 13 official at-bats during Monmouth’s three-game series sweep of New Jersey Tech. Spending more time than on base than any other NEC player this past week, Pulsonetti safely reached first during ten of his 16 plate appearances while totaling seven hits, nine runs batted in, and six runs scored. The freshman slugger began his 7-of-13 (.538) week at the plate by finishing 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs in the Hawks’ 10-3 series-opening victory over the Highlanders. With the Hawks facing an early 2-0 deficit, Pulsonetti tied the game in one swing with a second-inning, two-run blast to left center. The rookie DH closed the series with a 5-for-6 hitting display during a Hawks’ 26-5 thumping that included five RBI, four runs, his third homer of the season, and the first triple of his career.
