DeCruise’s rookie outdoor season looks to be as promising as her recently-completed indoor campiagn that culminated with the freshman sprinter capturing the NEC Indoor Championship Rookie of the Meet award. In her first collegiate outdoor meet, the Wake Forest Open, DeCruise produced a 200-meter time (24.83) that qualifies her for the ECAC Championships in May. The freshman completed a 100-200 sprint double by taking ninth in the 59-entrant, 100-meter field with a final time (12.30) that nearly met the ECAC standard.
