Victorin fared well in three throwing events at this past weekend’s lid-lifting Wake Forest Open with her best result coming in the shot put. The Mount senior qualified for the ECAC Championships by putting the shot 14.28m (46’ 10.75"). Her winning mark was 26 centimeters better than that of North Carolina’s Mary Angell, who claimed second. Victorin claimed fifth in the hammer throw (46.00m/150’ 11") and eighth in the discus (41.48m/136’ 1").
