Davidson continued to impress early in her freshman campaign, recording the Bobcats’ first home run of the season in a 4-2 loss to Cornell. The Glendale, AZ native, who hit .300 with one home run and two RBI on the week, helped Quinnipiac to a 2-0 win over Princeton on the final day of George Mason’s Patriot Classic. Davidson put the Bobcats on top early with a run scoring double in the top of the first, before scoring on teammate Christine Bourdeau’s (Seymour, CT/Seymour) single later in the inning. Through her first eight games Davidson is batting .261 with one home run and three RBI.
