Lynch began the 2008 campaign in remarkable fashion, helping Robert Morris to a 4-3 upset win over #22 Virginia Tech. The Allison Park, PA native, who went 1-for-3 in the season opener, put the Colonials on top early after belting a solo home run in the third inning. Lynch, who would also homer in games against Villanova and Rutgers, finished the week 3-for-9, with three home runs, three RBI and five runs scored. She has a 1.33 slugging percentage through the Colonials’ first four games.
