Locke, who has been a steady force throughout the entire season for Sacred Heart, claims her first NEC weekly honor this season on the heels of her two throwing victories at this past weekend’s Dartmouth Indoor Classic. Locke won the weight (16.20m) and the shot (14.42m), claiming both victories with throws that qualify the senior for the ECAC Championships in March. Her shot mark is second-best in the NEC, only two centimeters off the leading throw.
