Mutekanga posted an impressvive 400-800 double at the Metropolitan Championships to garner his second consecutive NEC Track Athlete of the Week award. The LIU sophomore was the runner-up in both the 400-meter dash (48.38) and 800-meter run (1:52.46), logging two IC4A-qualifying times. The latter mark is tops in the NEC heading into this weekend’s conference title meet.
