Running on an indoor track for the first time in his career, Mutekanga qualified for the IC4A Championships in the 500-meter event. The sophomore newcomer topped the entire 50-entrant field at the Boston University Terrier Classic, producing the league’s top 500-meter time at 1:02.67.
