Boyd, who made a strong case for NEC Field Athlete of the Week honors, earns his third NEC Rookie of the Week award this season. Boyd nailed a huge personal best at the collegiate level by long jumping 7.36m, the top mark by any NEC athlete thus far this season. Boyd’s first-place finish in the event at the Fordham Collegiate Invitational surpassed Long Island’s previous program by 12 centimeters.
