Anderson was the catalyst as Quinnipiac won a pair of games last week to improve to 4-1 in NEC play and take sole possession of second place in the conference. Anderson averaged 22.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 3.0 spg, 2.0 apg and shot 53.3 percent from the floor, including 80.0 percent (4-5) from beyond the three-point arc. He scored a game-high 21 points and added seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and four steals in a 70-59 win at Mount St. Mary’s on Thursday. Two days later, Anderson again earned game-scoring honors with 24 points, to go along with eight rebounds and a pair of steals as the Bobcats defeated visiting Monmouth, 71-58. The Oxon Hill, MD native has now scored 20 or more points in six of the last seven games and a league-best ten times on the year. Anderson is also second in the NEC with 20.6 ppg, and leads the Bobcats with 6.0 rpg and 1.8 spg. In a nod to his consistency, the senior guard has now scored in double figures in 36 straight games dating back to last season. This marks the longest streak in the conference since Robert Morris guard Maurice Carter scored ten or more points in 40 straight outings from 2002-04.
