Vuono picked up right where he left off prior to the Christmas break -- heading the NEC’s Track Athlete of the Week Honor Roll. Vuono wins this week’s honor for his individual performance in the 400-meter dash, the only event he contested at the Seton Hall Classic. Moving closer to an IC4A-qualifying mark in the event, the New Jersey native claimed second overall by clocking in at 50.51s. Only the unattached Marvin Lewis proved faster. Vuono earned his first accolade this season on the heels of his IC4A-qualifying performance in the 500-meter at Princeton’s New Year Invitational (12/8).
