In his first game back after sitting out the 2006-07 season, Vinson picked right up where he left off, scoring 22 points and adding 14 boards in Wagner’s 74-70 win at Lafayette on Friday. A second team all-NEC selection as a junior in 2005-06, Vinson was unstoppable on the low block, hitting 10-12 shots from the floor, to go along with two assists, two steals and a blocked shot. The double-double was the 15th of his career, second among active NEC players. The Vineland, NJ product is also the league’s leading active rebounder with 549 boards.
