Grossman picked up the win in both of Quinnipiac’s victories this week. The junior goalkeeper only surrendered one goal in 140 minutes of play, stopping 11 of 12 shots on goal (.917 save percentage). The junior goalie pitched a shutout and stopped six shots in QU’s 1-0 win at former NEC member Fairfield. Grossman made five saves in a 2-1 conference victory over Siena to help keep the Bobcats NEC Tournament hopes alive. One of the five stops came on a penalty stroke in the game’s final 10 minutes.
