McCarty rushed for a career-high 170 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries in Albany’s road rout of Saint Francis (PA). The sophomore tailback helped his team remain unbeaten in league play by averaging 11.3 yards per carry, which includes his 63-yard scoring scamper that opened the second half. Moving from flanker into the backfield during the off-season, McCarty has rushed for more than 140 yards on three occasions this season. He tallied 157 yards and 143 yards in wins over Stony Brook and Fordham, respectively.
