Schirtzinger’s punting performance helped off-set Robert Morris’ offensive struggles by allowing the Colonials’ to control the field position battle. The freshman averaged 45.8 yards per punt on five chances during the 9-8 victory. Schirtzinger also produced the longest punt in the NEC thus far this year when his 69-yard boot pinned Morehead State back on its own six-yard line. On the season, Schirtzinger is tied for second in the NEC with a 41.9 yards per punt average.
