Pelts scored his first points as a collegian on Friday to lead Fairleigh Dickinson to a 3-1 win over a Towson team that has ranked as high as #23 nationally this season and is currently sixth in the NSCAA South Atlantic region poll. In the Knights’ home opener, the native of Kfar-Saba, Israel came off the bench to feed Samson Malijani for the game’s first goal six minutes into the second half. After the Tigers tied the match less than a minute later, Malijani dropped the ball off to Pelts inside the 18-yard box, who netted the game-winner in the 61st minute by slipping a shot inside the lower right post. Pelts also registered two of FDU’s three shots on goal in a 1-0 setback to Lehigh on Sunday.
