Sallhag has provided the offensive spark for a much improved St. Francis (NY) team in 2007. Last week, he led the Terriers to the UMBC adidas Kick-Off Classic championship after recording a goal and an assist on Sunday in a 3-1 over Navy. The Vaxjo, Sweden product scored the first goal of the contest in the 35th minute, then assisted on Semso Nikocevic’s insurance goal with four minutes remaining in the contest to hand the Midshipmen their first setback of the season. Off to a 2-1-1 start, the Terriers have already matched their win total from a year ago, thanks in part to Sallhag’s league-leading four goals and nine points on the season.
