Batistelli led Wagner to a 6-0 week with four home runs, 12 RBI and a 1.438 slugging percentage to earn her first NEC Player of the Week honor of the year. She scored or brought in 19 of the Seahawks 39 runs on the week as the team extended its winning streak to a season high seven games and nine straight in the NEC. In the process she became Wagner’s all-time RBI leader and now has tallied 96 for her career. Saving her big hit for Sunday the west coast product hit a one-out, three-run homerun off of the league’s stingiest pitcher Kristen Sawlsville (1.42 ERA) in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at 4-4 in game one.
