Germuth baffled CCSU hitters on Sunday, tossing a three-hit shutout in the Mount’s 4-0 victory. He struck out a career-high 10 batters and did not issue a single free pass as Mount St. Mary’s maintained its hold on first place in the conference by taking three-of-four from the Blue Devils. The Severn, MD native carried a no-hitter into the seventh and did not permit more than one CCSU baserunner in any inning. It was Germuth's first career nine-inning complete game at the Mount and improved the righthander’s record to 5-4 on the season in 10 starts.
