Herb will enter the NEC Tournament on a high note after posting 3-1 records in both singles and doubles play last week. Competing at the #3 flight, she defeated Ellen de Jong of UMass, 7-5, 6-1, then stopped Sacred Heart’s Nicole Betz, 6-0, 6-1, and Mount St. Mary’s Chelsea Johnson, 6-3, 6-2. Herb is now 10-5 on the season in singles, and improved to 11-3 in #2 doubles play along with teammate Amanda Petruzzi.
