Giles collected all three of the Blackbirds wins this week while extending her consecutive scoreless innings streak to 23 to be named the NEC Pitcher of the Week. The Florida native scattered five hits while striking out seven in a complete-game shutout of Seton Hall, then notched her third straight shutout victory in the first game of the doubleheader against CCSU. Entering the second game in relief, the sophomore hurler was nearly unhittable, allowing only a bunt base hit with two outs in the seventh inning while walking none and striking out five against the Blue Devils. The three wins improve her record to 12-6 this season and the scoreless innings streak has lowered her ERA to 1.92.
