A model of consistency and versatility, Seeman brings home her second NEC Rookie of the Week honor as she earned two complete-game victories last week. Against Big East opponent UConn, the freshman hurler held the Huskies to two earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six in seven innings. She then baffled CCSU hitters, allowing just one hit and walking two while striking out nine in the complete game shutout. From the plate, she went 4-for-11 (.364) with two home runs, a double, five RBI and three runs scored. She had at least one base hit in each game, building a four-game hit streak. Against Connecticut, the California native hit two home runs and drove in three to help her cause. Seeman singled in the first inning against the Blue Devils to drive in the only run of the game to backup her complete game shutout of the conference rival. For the season, Seeman is batting .412, with six home runs, 21 RBI, and 13 runs scored - all team highs. From the pitching circle, she has four wins, 55 strikeouts to just 22 walks, and has held opposing batters to a .211 batting average in 58.0 innings.
