Rodriguez claims the second Prince/NEC Player of the Week honor of her career after her perfect 4-0 singles mark helped lead Quinnipiac to three victories in four matches. In the Bobcats’ lone loss of the week, she downed URI’s Steff Catanzano, 6-0, 6-4, in #6 singles on Thursday, then moved up two days later to the #4 spot to defeat FDU’s Ksenia Chernyshova, 6-2, 7-5. She also claimed a pair of #5 flight victories against Monmouth (6-0, 6-2) and Colgate (6-3, 6-4). Rodriguez, a two-time first team all-NEC selection, is now 8-2 in dual meet matches and 10-7 overall this season.
