Stephens is the recipient of his third consecutive Prince/NEC Player of the Week award after a pair of impressive victories to close out the Knights’ spring trip to Fort Myers, FL. He posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Valparaiso’s Nic Kooyers and downed Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Tim Prudlow, 6-4, 6-4. Kooyers is the reigning Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year, while Prudlow was a first team all-Horizon League selection a year ago. Stephens, who won all three of his matches down south, extended his winning streak to four and improved to 7-3 this spring at the #1 flight.
