The Brisbane, Australia native shot a two-day total of 145 (+1) and totaled six birdies, including five on the final day, over the two rounds. Kelly birdied five of his first 12 holes in the final round and held on to the lead despite going five-over par over the final six holes. It was the sixth top-10 finish of his LIU career and the best finish by a Blackbird since former golfer Brad Corcoran won the first Lonnie Barton Invitational in 2005.
