MU's Ashley Huffman won first place in the pentahlon at the Bucknell Bison Open with 3,856 points, which was good enough to put her on the NCAA Division I Provisional list for the event. It is the third-best performance in the nation so far this year and set a new Monmouth school record. Huffman’s marks in the five-event competition were 8.52 in the 55 meter hurdles, 5’5" in the high jump, 34’3.5" in the shot put, 19’10.75" in the long jump and 2:27.15 in the 800.
