Brookman won two individual titles and swam the butterfly leg of a 200 medley relay that also placed first in a Blue Devils victory over UMass (152-147). In the 200 yard butterfly, the NEC Athlete of the Week broke her own pool record by 1.78 seconds qualifying her for the US Open with a mark of 2:05.24. In Central Connecticut’s lone competition of the week, Brookman also won the 100 yard butterfly in 58.20. Her time of 2:10.66 in the 200 yard individual medley gave her a second place finish to go along with her two other individual victories.
