Sinisi ran for a career-high 143 yards on just 12 carries for an 11.9 yards per carry average in Monmouth’s, 54-20 win over Saint Francis (PA) on Saturday. The redshirt freshman also scored his 11th rushing touchdown of the year, breaking the Monmouth school record for consecutive games with a touchdown. Sinisi is one of only two players in Division I-AA who have scored in every game this year (Harvard’s Clifton Dawson). The Ceder Grove, NJ native gave the Hawks a 7-0 lead when he rumbled into the endzone from four yards out, just 3:37 into the game. That drive included a career-high 62 rush from Sinisi on the second play from scrimmage. Sinisi, who registered his second career 100-yard rushing game, leads the Hawks on the ground this season with 644 yards, which stands fifth in the conference. Against the Red Flash, Sinisi recorded three tackles and recovered a fumble on special teams. He earns his fourth NEC Rookie of the Week honor this season.
