Niklos, who missed the entire 2005 season with an ankle injury, helped Robert Morris seal its fourth straight road victory with a pair of fourth-quarter interceptions in a 21-6 triumph over Stony Brook. The senior was key in holding the Seawolves, who entered the game averaging 34.2 points per game in NEC contests, to a single touchdown. Niklos’ first interception came with less than eight minutes remaining in the game. Seawolves’ signal caller Josh Dudash dropped back and tried to connect with Lynell Suggs on a long pass play in the endzone, but Niklos stepped in front of the wideout and collected the pick. On SBU's last drive of the day, Niklos sealed the contest, picking off Dudash again at the Stony Brook 33-yard line. In the game, Niklos added four tackles (3 solo) an two pass breakups. On the season, the Columbus, OH native leads the league and ranks eighth in I-AA in interceptions (5) and passes defended (11). The senior has tallied four interceptions in RMU's last two road contests and has pushed his career total of picks to 13, which ranks third all-time at RMU and fourth in NEC annals.
