Thomas averaged 12 saves per game in a pair of road wins against two league rivals to earn NEC Player of the Week honors. In the first game of the week against Quinnipiac, Thomas allowed just one goal and posted nine saves in a 2-1 double overtime victory. Against the top offensive team in the conference, Sacred Heart, again only allowed one goal and recorded a season-high 15 saves in the Stags’ 2-1 overtime win. For the week, she posted a 0.77 goals against average, as Fairfield puts itself into playoff contention.
