After besting a field of 172 runners at the Iona Meet of Champions held at Van Cortlandt Park, Chelenga is named NEC Athlete and Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. His time of 24:06.1 was 13 seconds off the collegiate, course, and meet record. This was his second race victory in as many entries.
